The 'IRISH SANDEE OPEN' - 11th October 2025
This is an international junior tournament for ages 6-17yrs male and female across a range of weight categories. It is open to all Nations with the winner of each category becoming the Sandee Irish Open Champion and winning the prestigious Irish Sandee belt.
It is an elimination style Muay Thai event held in Ireland.
There will be 5 rounds, 1 min in duration with 30 seconds rest. Each ring will have 4 officials - 3 judges and a referee who will all be experienced in Muay Thai rules and scoring.
Weigh ins will start at 8am on the morning of the event and will finish at 9am. There is no allowance on the weight, if you miss weight you will be disqualified and will not be refunded if you miss weight.
If your Junior is not matched in their entered weight division we will contact you directly before the event to discuss whether you wish for them to move up or else you will be refunded.
Once entered on smoothcomp you can edit your weight division and information up until the closing of registration. The closing date of Registration is 2 weeks prior to the event.
